Default Key Fobs

I am new to this Forum but a long time member of the Corvette Forum. I try & help with Tech. questions when I can so I thought that I would give this Forum a try.
I have a 2002 Envoy that my Wife drives, one of the Key Fobs stopped working so I changed the battery & it still didn't work. I was told the the Dealer had to re-program it so I changed the other battery out & took them both to our local dealer along with the Envoy of cource. They programed them & they worked fine for about three days & first one stopped working then the next day the other stopped working. I have had this done three times by the dealer & it keeps on happening, the last time they kept the Envoy for the whole day & they worked fine. Well it happened again & the Dealership doesn't really know what is causing it or how to fix it, HELP!!!
Thanks

US Speedo has come up with a new and exciting product. These key fobs are designed to replace your current, boring factory remotes. These new fobs are vibrant and exciting. Installation is extremely easy. All you have to do is pop your factory fob open, move the electronics to the new US Speedo fob, then snap it back together. Bam! A new flashy key fob is yours to enjoy.

It is not true that only the dealer can program the keys. It is true you cannot do it yourself as a diagnostic tool is required to program the key to the vehicle computer. Many general locksmiths can do the work, and all automotive locksmiths can. Give 'em a call. You may save some money, but don't get your hopes up. High end car = high end cost of operation.
