Default Broken center console

The center console is broker right under the front cup holder. Anybody every replaced a broken center console?

I have yet to do this. Mine is very loose at the storage compartment. If it is similar to my 96 Grand AM, there should be 2 bolts at the bottom of the storage compartment, one or two under the liners for the cups, and possibly one under the shifter itself. You should be able to pop the shifter cover easily with a flat head screwdriver (put a rag around it in case it slips, you don't want to wreck something else) At that point, it should just come out. Be weary of wires attached to the shifter. Hope this helps. I will also try to find my Haynes manual and consult it.

I am going to search a couple of junkyards to see if I can find one that is not damaged.
