Default 2004 Starting issues

About a week ago our envoy wouldn't start, seemed like a dead battery (which is only a year old) got it jump started and everything was fine until today. Today it would not start at all even after trying to jump start it. Battery shows 12.75 volts, lights are nice and bright. Anyone have this happen to them?

Default problem fixed

Turns out the starter was shot, good thing I purchased the extended warranty, starter alone was over $300, labor over $400, Towing was another $100 also had a switch for the 4wd replaced. All in all the warranty paid for itself, now if something else goes wrong I'll be ahead of the game.

Hi there new here..Hope this helps. Try checking complete electrical starting system or scan computer to see if all electrical is in specs.

If everything is in specs and vehicle is running correctly there are many possibilities.

Check starter itself and check fuel pump pressure, also when vehicle fails to start note if it cranks but will not start most likely the fuel pump but only after pressures have been checked.

If it will not crank then listen for the 2 second priming from the gas tank, you may have to remove the gas cap to here this sound, then it most likely is the starter.
