Default tailgate problem

My 04 Envoy XUV has a tailgate problem. the window went down and now won't respond and the gate won't open at all.

I took the inside panel off and it seems the the cables going to the drive motor have come loose and the cover to the motor fell off.(hence the reason the cables came loose.) It looks like a real puzzle to get back together. I'm just not sure how it all gos back together...Can any body point me to a site that may have a picture or diagram of the way it works??
Thanks....Hombre

Default got it

well after laying in the back of my XUV model for a day and 1/2, I now know how the inside works of the tailgate go together... Not a easy puzzle to put together. $240 and some brain racking and it works good as new.

Glad to hear that you were able to figure it out for yourself. There is something satisfying about a DIY job.
