my 2003 slt back windshield wiper are not working is it the motor or a fuse. and has any one had this problem? it only has 40k mil.

I also own a 2003 SLT and my rear wiper every once in awhile doesn't work. The only way it works again is to turn the vehicle off and then restart it, and it works fine for awhile after that. So your problem might be what mine is getting ready to do, sure hope someone on here has some info for us?

4 door cars generally don't have a rear wiper because as mentioned before the slope of the rear window causes to much pressure on the wiper arm. A rear window must reach a certain angle before a rear wiper is fitted. One car back here in the UK was fitted with a wiper and happened to be a 4 door sedan. It was the Ford Escort Orion Ghia SI, it turned out to be useless, the rear window demists usually keep the rear window clear.
