Default Recharging AC

My AC cut out on me about a week ago. It was working and blowing cold air. I parked and went inside. Came back out and started up the truck for my next trip to the store.

The AC was blowing hot air only. This is Texas and I need that AC to work.

I got to store and grab some gear for the list of items to do around the house.

Got back in and my AC was back to blowing cold air.

I bought one of those recharing kits with PSI gauge on it. I hooked it up and the gauge went right to 100 psi and that means some kind of warning according to the gauge.

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I would say run to a shop that does A/C work and ask them. Are you sure the A/C button was on and not just the recirc. button? Does the A/C Compressor pulley run correctly when the hood is open?

I will take it by the shop and have them look at it. Still blowing cold air with no problems.
