Default Windshield Wipers on a 2002 slt

My wipers sort of wigged out on me this morning for several minutes. They came on with the switch in the off position. I drove it once since then and they were fine.

Is this a big problem that will get worse? Anyone else have this kind of issues before?

I am new to the forum, and have owned an Envoy SLT 2002 for 4 months. I really really like it so far.

Replies would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

John, Indiana

Make sure all the recall notices have been fixed on this Envoy. I have an 02 and if I remember correctly there was a wiper issue that needs to be fixed. The cost is nothing to you.

Ditto on the recalls. When I first got my '02 SLE, I took it to the Stealership to check on any open recalls. The truck was about 3 years old. There hadn't been one recall performed on the truck since it had been sold. I believe that there was about 7 open recalls on the truck, the wipers being one of them. BTW, welcome to the forum.
