I found an 04 Enovy XL 4WD for sale and was wondering if the third row was very useful.

I'm a SWB owner. I have seen the XL's, and don't find them to be as appealing asthetically, but I am sure the extra row of seating is useful for a larger family. I have two boys, both is car seats, and the truck is full. If there was a third kid in the truck, I wouldn't own it due to a lack of space.

I agree I do not like the look of the XL

I just got rid of an explorer with 3rd row for an Xl with 2 kids there was no room for stroller ect. and any other people. higher roof is nice to, and with the price of gas I got it for 13k with 35,000 miles
