Question Uneven Brake lining wear ???
I just got my 2005 Envoy out of the dealer for a Transmission Tune-up. I received a Service report as well, and noticed that the brake linings are wearing un-evenly. The report shows this : LF-10mm, LR- 10mm, RF- 4mm,RR- 4mm. It seems as though the RIGHT side of my vehicle is worn down over 2 times as much as my LEFT side ??? Is this normal, or an indication of a problem

Is it possible that the master cylinder has a proportioning valve that is incorrectly adjusted, throwing more braking power to the right side?
