Default I have one

I have one of those plastic jobs from the dealer, more of a bumper guard, mostly for looks. It's nice when I pull up too close to a curb and then back out, rips it right off!

Once upon a time I was looking for the factory front fascia extension. However, that fell by the way side. I thought it was a nice touch that was not obtrusive. I forget the GM Part # though, sorry. This is probably what mjewell has on his ride.

I hope I can find one that is not too heavy and will allow me to add some extra lights.

Default No lights on the GMC stock model

The one we have is purely cosmetic, lights would twist it right off, it's only held on by those plastic nail looking things, god I hate those.

Take a look at this one. Not a real grill guard, but you can mounts some lights.

That looks pretty good. Not big and gaudy looking, and nice in chrome. It doesn't appear to take away from the styling of the truck either.
