Default Open Air Breathers

Anybody using K&N system or any other open air system on your Envoy?

Pro?
Cons?

I am currently running a stock air filter, but removed the air box and made a heat shield from 304SS. The truck appears a bit peppier, but it is hard to tell as my wife is the full time driver. It is a little noisier off of the line. Not really a noticeable difference in gas mileage, but its not a true CAI. Next is to get the K&N Filter for it, followed by a CAI kit (if the wife allows it).

I will buy one and see what happens. This Envoy has 71700 miles and is still running strong.

Cool

I did put on a K&N system, happy with it, highly recommend you get the filter sock as well. Even if you take your time with the install, approx 30 minutes and your done.
