Default Headlight Question? 2002

On a 2002 Envoy, are the headlights sealed? or can you replace the bulb by itself instead of buying a whole new light fixture?

Thanks,
Perry

I have not had to replace a bulb as of yet, but the bulb should be a seperate entity from the housing. A 1/4 turn counter-clockwise is usually all it takes to remove the bulbs, and then a 1/4 turn clockwise to reinstall.

you can take off the bulb....be a pretty expensive buy when everytime the bulb goes out....
to replace the bulb is to take the headlight off.
when the hood is up you will notice 2 pull tabs for each headlight...... pull these up and you will be able to remove the headlight.....once you do this you can get to the bulb with ease.....I hear with the sister vehicle the Trailblazer.....it is a pain in the a$$ to replace.....

I heard the same about the trailblazer. I believe you have to remove the grille, and better part of the front end to replace the bulb. Stupid design.
