Hi, the ballast is out on my 98 Envoy. The parts to replace are very expensive. Has anyone figured out a better way? I have seen posts that say the aftermarket HID light kits will work but have never known anyone who has done it.

Please help.

I am putting some aux lights in, and the way they will be mounted does not give me many options for Ballast mounting... I need to mount the ballasts a little bit away from where the actual bulbs will be... hence my needing to cut the wires from ballast to bulb...
