rollin' on 20's? Handling issues...

Hello. I'm new to this forum

I bought my 2002 Envoy with 20's on it...size is...275/45/20. My problem is the handling is super poor. It fishtails WAAAAY to easily. I read that could be attributed to the wrong tire size. Is this the right size? Anyone else have handling issues with bigger rims/tires?
